Cameron was commissioned to write the commemorative book for Federation University Australia’s 150-year anniversary celebrations, held in 2020.

Published in both hardcover and softcover editions, this bespoke publication highlights the rich history of the institution, beginning with the establishment of the School of Mines Ballarat in 1870, and its evolution to become the global university it is today.

Cameron undertook significant research, finding new and surprising insights within books, news articles, and archival material, to bring to life the colourful story of Federation University Australia, and the key figures in its development to date.
